Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2026

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and the services provided by CompendiumIQ. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Service

We build private AI knowledge engines for companies that sell health and wellness equipment, devices, and treatment protocols. Each knowledge engine is built from documentation provided and approved by that company (manuals, protocols, spec sheets, SOPs, and similar materials), and is intended for use by that company's clinic partners, sales representatives, and staff. The knowledge engine delivers informational responses, cited to their source documents, and is not a replacement for a company's official documentation, regulatory obligations, or professional judgment.

3. No Medical Advice

The knowledge engine does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations, whether to end patients or to the clinic partners and staff who use it. It is intended to help users locate and understand information already contained in company-approved documentation. Any clinical decision should rely on that official documentation, applicable regulatory guidance, and the professional judgment of a qualified provider.

4. Client Responsibilities

If you engage our service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete documentation for your knowledge engine
  • Review and approve the documentation and content used to build it
  • Ensure the documentation you provide is one you have the rights to use
  • Control distribution of the access credential provided for your knowledge engine, and notify us if it needs to be changed or rotated
  • Notify us of material updates to your documentation so the knowledge engine can be kept current
  • Use the service in a way that aligns with applicable laws, industry regulations, and professional standards

You remain responsible for decisions made using information obtained through your knowledge engine.

5. Data and Documentation Ownership

All documentation you provide remains your property. We use it only to build, maintain, and improve the knowledge engine built for you, and it is never shared with other clients or used to train AI models. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further detail on how information is handled.

6. Third-Party Tools

Our service may use third-party platforms and AI providers to operate. While we work with trusted providers and take reasonable steps to protect client data, we do not control their systems and are not liable for issues arising from third-party services outside our reasonable control.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The knowledge engine may be updated, modified, or temporarily unavailable, including during scheduled maintenance or updates to underlying documentation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of this website or service, and we are not responsible for decisions made based on responses generated by the knowledge engine. Use of the service is at your own discretion, and clients remain responsible for verifying critical information against their own official documentation before relying on it.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including branding, illustrations, and written material, belongs to CompendiumIQ unless otherwise stated, and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission. Documentation provided by clients for use in their knowledge engine remains the intellectual property of that client.

10. Setup, Maintenance, and Payments

Scope, timeline, and pricing for building and maintaining a knowledge engine will be agreed upon before work begins. Ongoing monitoring and maintenance may be billed on a recurring basis. Access to the knowledge engine may be paused or terminated for non-payment.

11. Access and Termination

Access to a knowledge engine is controlled through a shared credential managed at the company level. Clients may request that this credential be changed or rotated at any time to limit further access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a knowledge engine or access to our service if these terms are violated or the service is used in a harmful, misleading, or inappropriate way.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

13. Contact
